Turtle Wing strives to bring informative and relevant trainings to the rural area for educational professionals and the community as a whole, especially in relation to what we are hearing is needed from daycare staff, school teachers and administration, and families. This is why Turtle Wing has invited Katie Gross to give a training on "Trauma in Children". This session will consist of an overview of the types of trauma, the ACE study, effects of trauma, trauma treatment, and more. Katie Gross, (MA, LPC-S, NCC, TFCBT/PSB-CBT (Y) Certified) has experience as a therapist, therapist supervisor, interim clinical director, and is currently the LPC for LGISD, SISD, & FISD.
