The 2023 Turtle Wing Toast will be held Thursday, January 26th at Sengelmann Hall in Schulenburg. The annual “Toast” is a celebration, with the goal of “remembering, rejoicing, and renewing” all of the accomplishments of the foundation. This years theme is “The Art of Turtle Wing”, and will highlight Turtle Wing individuals who have learned to express themselves and “grow wings” through the arts. The programming will consist of special performances by the Dancing Turtles (inclusive Dance) & Ninja Turtles (Inclusive Taekwondo) brought to you by the foundations partnership with On Pointe Dance Studio. Also on display throughout the event will be pieces of art created by Turtle Wing individuals through the foundations partnership with Arts for Rural Texas. All are welcome to this special event. Doors open at 6pm, with the program starting at 7pm. There will be hors d’oeuvres & a cash bar. The event will conclude at 8.
