Turtle Wing offers Scholarships for Highschool Seniors Due March 1st
Turtle Wing Foundation is again offering 3, $1,000 scholarships to highschool seniors who attend schools within Fayette, Lavaca, and Colorado counties. Applicants must submit a completed Turtle Wing Foundation Scholarship Application, along with an essay (one page - double spaced) about why he/she is deserving of the specific scholarship, as well as their transcript through midterm of senior year, class rank, and GPA along with the application. The available scholarship descriptions are as follows:
Jack Hooper Memorial Scholarship: this will be awarded to a student who has exhibited the qualities of Acceptance, Kindness, Inclusion, and Service. This might be through volunteerism, work, or life experiences.
Grow Wings Scholarship: this applicant must be actively participating in Special Education or following a 504 plan.
Give Wings Scholarship: this applicant must be pursuing an education that will lead them to working with children with learning challenges in some way.
