Turtle Wing Foundation is hosting a free Date Night for parents with children with learning challenges. The Turtle Wing Parent Support Network provides resources, training, networking, and fun for families who may otherwise feel like they are on the journey of raising their unique child on their own. No parent should have to face the stresses, systems, and struggles that might come along on their own. Turtle Wing wants to provide a special night for parents where they can reconnect. Childcare will be provided if requested. This night will be held at Jack & Mary’s in Schulenburg on Friday, February 14. It is a free event for Turtle Wing Parents but an RSVP is required as the reserved space will be limited. There will be food by a gourmet food truck out of Bastrop called Urban. Their food is AMAZING!!! There will be live music will be from 6:30-8:30 by a Hayden Jones. This event is open to the public, but reserved seating will be set up for the Turtle Wing party.
