Turtle Wing Foundation & Hallettsville Little League to Co-host Jack Hooper's Jr. MLB Homerun Derby

The 11th Annual Jack Hooper Day at the Ballpark and Homerun Derby will be a little different this year! The Derby and Day at the Ballpark will be held on two separate days, as the weather has not cooperated the past couple of years. On Sunday, April 10th at 2:00, Turtle Wing is teaming up with Hallettsville Little League to host the MLB Jr. Home Run Derby in Hallettsville at the Little League ball fields. The Derby is free to enter and is open to all youth 14 years of age and under. Boys & girls are encouraged to enter! Come out to the ballpark! Winners will get the opportunity to advance through three levels of competition culminating at the 2022 All-Star Game in Los Angeles! Registration will be announced and opened closer to the event, keep a lookout on our website and the Facebook page @TurtleWingFoundation for registration details. Jack Hooper’s Day at the Ballpark will be held at Wolter’s Park in Schulenburg on Saturday, May 7th! More details to follow! Both the Jr. MLB Homerun Derby and The Day at the Ballpark are titled sponsored by Chuck Brown Ford. We are so appreciative of all their support!
