Early Childhood Providers & Parents Encouraged to Attend Training on Fine Motor Development

Updated: Jun 3, 2019

With school back in session, Turtle Wing Foundation will again be partnering with Schulenburg/Weimar Area Parents as Teachers to provide continuing education training for staff of day care centers, preschools and the parents of children who attend their facilities or schools. The next training will be held on Tuesday, September 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Weimar. There is no fee charged to attend, though an RSVP is requested to assist with meal planning. 2.0 Workshop Hours are offered to those needing them for certification. This will be a Make & Take Night so, following a brief program on Fine Motor Development, all attendees will break out and have the opportunity to rotate through a number of stations where they will create activities that they will then be able to bring back to their centers or schools and implement to help the children in their care develop their fine motor skills. To RSVP please call (979)725-9832 or e-mail Phyllis@stanzelmuseum.org. To learn more about PAT visit their website at www.sw-pat.org.
