With Schulenburg Sausage Festival just around the corner, Turtle Wing Foundation is gearing up for their 4th Annual Wurst Run Ever. Becoming a new favorite for 5K enthusiasts in the area, the spring weather and festive mood of the day makes for a great reason for athletes of all abilities to lace up their runners and hit the streets. This 5K is for runners and walkers and will at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 6 in downtown Schulenburg. To check-in or register, participants should meet in front of the Old Galipp’s Supermarket (498 North Main Street). There will be a new route this year to avoid crossing the railroad tracks. Early registration is happening now at www.getmeregistered.com/WurstRunEver or registration forms are available at the Turtle Wing office (723 Upton Ave., Schulenburg). Day-of registration is available beginning at 8:00 am, but register by March 14 to guarantee you get a shirt in your size. Shirts and sizes will be while supplies last for those not pre-registered. annual campaigns
The month of April is the Make our Match Campaign. For every dollar we raise during this time frame, Chuck Brown Ford will match that amount up to $5000. This campaign was started in 2018 and has been a huge success.
We want to thank Chuck Brown Ford for all their support and to everyone that donates to the make or match campaign.
