Turtle Wing Foundation wants to invite all families, not just those who have children with learning challenges, to join us for a family day of fun at the 10th Annual Jack Hooper Day at the Ballpark and Homerun Derby, which will be held on Saturday, May 1 at the Wolters Park. Hopefully the weather will provide a perfect spring setting for baseball, corn hole, turtle races, activities, food and music. This year Turtle Wing is bringing back their 5K. The event will begin at 8 AM, with prizes being awarded to the fastest youth (17U), fastest adult male and fastest adult female. Athletes of all ages and abilities will get a chance to join in on the fun. It is more about community and healthy living than getting a medal! Registration is available at www.getmeregistered.com/JackHooperDay5K or forms are available at the Turtle Wing office (1203 S Kessler Ave., suite 201, Schulenburg). Turtle Wing Foundation’s mission is “helping children with learning challenges in rural areas achieve their full potential”. Programming areas include Early Intervention, Supplemental Services and Community Education and Advocacy. Turtle Wing’s service area includes Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca and surrounding counties. For more information, event registration or to volunteer for the event please visit www.turtlewingfoundation.org, the Turtle Wing Facebook page, or call the office at 979-505-5090.

annual campaigns
The month of April is the Make our Match Campaign. For every dollar we raise during this time frame, Chuck Brown Ford will match that amount up to $5000. This campaign was started in 2018 and has been a huge success.
We want to thank Chuck Brown Ford for all their support and to everyone that donates to the make or match campaign.
